The American band Aerosmith was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in the year 1970. Guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton met with singer Steven Tyler, drummer Joey Kramer and guitarist Ray Tabano to form a rock band named Aerosmith and quickly developed a fan following in Boston which brought them into the limelight. However Ray Tabano was replaced by Brad Whitford in 1971. Columbia records signed Aerosmith in 1972 after which the band became instantly popular worldwide.

Studio albums like Rocks, Pump, Get a Grip, Nine Lives, Just Push Play and Honkin’ on Bobo have ruled the charts for years. Singles like Crazy, Janie’s Gotta Gun, Dream On, Pink, Amazing, Jaded, Angel and I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing are still considered the best.
