A Fire Inside, or AFI as they call themselves, are an American alternative rock band which hails from Ukiah, California. AFI were formed in the year 1991.

Many departures were seen over the years. However since 1998 the band has been following up the same lineup with consistent performers which include lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backup vocalist Adam Carson, guitarist Jade Puget and bassist Hunter Burgan. Davey Havok and Adam Carson both happen to be AFI’s original members.

The alternative rock band has released around eight studio albums and 10 extended plays or EPs. AFI have also released a live album and a DVD. The band became widely recognized and popular only after they released their fifth album named ‘The Art of Drowning’. The album was released in 2000 which became a huge commercial success.

Songs like Girl’s Not Grey, The Leaving Song Pt. II, Silver and Cold, Love Like Winter and Miss Murder entailed some of the best performances by the band.
