Audioslave t-shirt - Chris Cornell

This Audioslave t shirt features an image of Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell. Originating from the Seattle grunge scene of the late 80\'s and early 90\'s Cornell became famous with his first band Soundgarden who were extremely successful. Soundgarden released 7 albums altogether including one greatest hits album selling millions and gaining international recognition. Soundgarden split in 1997 and Cornell made one solo album before joining his next band Audioslave. Audioslave were formed when Zach de la Rocha left Rage Against The Machine and the other members sought a new frontman. Cornell was asked to join the new project and Audioslave was born. The combination of RATM style riffs and Cornel\'s vocals combined to make a new sound which was instantly popular. Audioslave recorded three albums between 2002 and 2006 when they decided to part company due to musical differences. Cornell has now returned to his solo career  and has released 2 solo albums since he left Audioslave as well as writing and recording the title track for James Bond Film Casino Royale and recently recording a single with Timberland.
