Johnny Thunders Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory T-shirt

I have designed a lot of T-shirts; but not many that I love as much as this one. Maybe it's because of the subject; maybe it's because it seems to sum up the subject so well. Does it matter? Not really. You see; I just love Johnny's playing.... yes; I know about all those 'Johnny Blunders' jibes; but it doesn't matter. Was he as good as an Eddie Van Halen or a Jimi Hendrix? Of course not; but did he have a feel for his music and a soul that embodied the music scene he enveloped that out strips all others? You bet. Punk was never about virtuoso guitarists; which is why Thunders; along with Johnny Ramone; Cheetah Chrome; Steve Jones; Ross 'The Boss' and Thunders' NYD bandmate Syl Sylvain will always be my favourite 6 stringers.
