Megadeth t-shirt - Dave Mustaine

This Megadeth t shirt features a full colour image of lead singer/lead guitarist Dave Mustaine. After a brief stint with his first band \Panic\ Mustaine answered an advert placed in the local newspaper by Lars Ulrich to join a new band named Metallica. He co-wrote several songs but ultimately lasted less than 2 years in the band as the rest of Metallica could not handle the amount of time that Mustaine was drunk out of his mind. He was sacked and vowed to make a band more successful than Metallica. He formed his new band Megadeth in 1983 with whom he has had a lot of success although he never managed to knock Metallica off their perch (Metallica have sold more albums than any other band in history except The Beatles!) Megadeth have been very successful in their own right however releasing a string of albums and singles that have sold well and touring almost all of the planet several times over. Mustaine set up the \Gigantour\ in 2005 as an alternative to Ozfest in the States. This has become an annual tradition featuring a lineup of metal bands usually including Megadeth.
