The electronic band hails from Toronto, Ontario in Canada. The band became active since 2004. The current members of the band are producer Ethan Kath and lyricist and vocalist Alice Glass. Crystal Castles have done various live shows and have a lot of fan following.
The group is famous for their lo-fi home productions and the inclusion of electronic music in their live shows. The band released many EPs between 2006 and 2007. The band has also released two eponymous studio albums in the year 2008 and 2010 under Last Gang and Fiction record label. Their albums brought them widespread critical acclaim which made the band instantly popular.
Their debut album ‘Crystal Castles’ released in 2008 was also included in NME’s list of Top 100 Greatest Albums of the Decade which earned their album 39th position. The band’s single ‘Not in Love’ featuring Robert Smith have peaked at all the charts worldwide and earned 54th position in UK Singles Chart.
