The American death metal band hails from Glendale, Arizona. The band was formed in the year 2003 by vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Ravi Bhadriraju and Andrew Arcurio, bassist Chad Staples and drummer Andy Rysdam.

The band created their MySpace profile in 2004 which helped them to promote their various songs and music and earned them worldwide fan base. The band’s first album titled ‘Genesis’ was released in the year 2007 and peaked at #54 on US Billboard 200. The album went on to sell around 13,000 copies within the first week of its release.

Job for a Cowboy’s second album titled ‘Ruination’ was released in the year 2009 and managed to sell 10,600 copies in US within the first week and debuted at #42 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band has also played in various international music festivals. Their latest release is an EP titled ‘Gloom’ which was released in the year 2011.
