The American heavy metal band hails from Richmond, Virginia and was formed in the year 1994. The members of the band are vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell and drummer Chris Adler. Lamb of God is considered as a band which originated during the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement. Lamb of God has so far released around six studio albums, one compilation, one live album and three DVDs. The band is famous for incorporating metalcore and groove metal in their music. Lamb of God has also played at various international music festivals. The debut album of the band was ‘Burn the Priest’ which was released through Legion Records in 1999. The band went on to receive a Grammy Nomination for their fifth album ‘Sacrament’ which was released in the year 2006. The latest venture of the band is their studio album ‘Resolution’ released in 2012 which is available as a single disc or a 2 disc CD pack.
