The rock supergroup was formed in Los Angeles, California. The group was formed by renowned artists from popular bands like Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. John Paul Jones, Dave Grohl and Josh Homme created the supergroup in the year 2009. Various live gigs of the band have seen the inclusion of guitarist Alain Johannes as well. The band’s first gig occurred in Chicago in the year 2009. The band went on a worldwide tour ‘Deserve the Future’ the same year which extended to 2010. The band came up with their first single titled ‘New Fang’ in the year 2009. Soon their eponymous debut album was released which debuted on #12 on the Billboard 200 and #13 on the UK Albums Chart. The album also made it to different album charts all across the globe. The group also won a Grammy in the year 2011 for ‘Best Hard Rock Performance’ for their single ‘New Fang’.
