The American metalcore band was formed in the year 1998. Walls of Jericho hail from Detroit, Michigan. The band was formed owing to the demise of two Detroit based bands namely Earthmover and Universal Stomp. The band consists of vocalist Candace Kucsulain, guitarist Chris Rawson, guitarist Mike Hasty, bass guitarist Aaron Ruby and drummer Dustin Schoenhofer. The year 1999 saw the release of the band’s first EP through Underestimated record label. Their CD EP soon followed which was entitled as ‘A Day and a Thousand Years’ through Eulogy Recordings. Their EP releases attracted Ferret and Trustkill Records. Walls of Jericho signed Trustkill and released their debut full length album titled ‘The Bound Feed the Gagged’ in the year 1999. Several tours followed the release. Walls of Jericho went into a hiatus in 2001 when the band was unable to find a drummer after their drummer Wes Keely departed however they reformed two years later.
